We had a big new kitchen job that involved stripping out the old kitchen, removing internal and external walls, a chimney stack and various ceilings, as well as installing 9 RSJ's of various sizes to replace the support walls. He also removed two bathrooms and rebuilt them in different areas, so a lot of plumbing and electrical work was involved. It was a 4 month job, and Chris did it all on time, and within the budget. We kept adding various bits to the job as it went, some minor, some major, and Chris and James took it all in their stride, and kept smiling, never complaining.

Chris always kept us updated as a job this size kept throwing curveballs...the biggest being the chimney stack, as that wasn't part of Plan A! Nothing ever fazed him, he just came up with solutions to every problem.

It was a pleasure to have Chris here, his attention to detail was amazing, and he was also so clean and tidy, making sure it was always safe for us to see how the work was going, and even putting temporary railing around the foundation pads to stop our dogs falling in.

The kitchen and new bathrooms are amazing, it has made a huge difference to our house, and we have been, and still are, absolutely thrilled.

My personal experience of Chris James Construction was absolutely 1st class. The service provided from start to finish was both personal and professional. They recently completed the removal of a solid wall into my new built extension and completed strengthening and structural changes in readiness for the beautiful bathroom which they fitted and finished in its entirety and I believe this to be a job of superb quality. They committed to a time scale, and even though I made changes to the bathroom spec as the work progressed, they still completed the works within this timescale agreed. They were always on time, courteous, very tidy and discreet. I have also recommended Classic Building & Electrical to friends and colleagues who have been similarly impressed. Classic Building & Electrical is so good that I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

I live in a Georgian terraced property which has required some quite extensive renovation; as part of this and over the last year and a half, Chris has not only installed lighting in several rooms, replaced the fuse box and related wiring but also fitted oak worktops in the kitchen. In all his work to date, he has performed this to the highest standard moreover has proved to be very reliable so cannot in any way fault his undoubted professionalism

We have used Chris James Construction to refit our bathroom and now our kitchen. They are both very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They will give you ideas and suggestions.
